CrystalClearŽ
Clarity Max and Clarity Max Plus with Activated Barley
is designed to restore balance to the pond environment. It
cleans ponds by breaking down organic materials that create
problems for pond hobbyists in and around waterfalls, rocks,
plant pots, pumps and filtration systems. It works on your
worst pond problem! CrystalClearŽ Clarity Max was found to
reduce excessive nutrient content that contributes to organic
growth and helps to enhance existing filtration systems. It
is a problem solver! Once the problem has been resolved it
is best to routinely treat the pond with either CrystalClearŽ
Biological Clarifier (dry or liquid) or CrystalClearŽ Nitrifier
to maintain good bacterial balance within the pond system.
CrystalClearŽ Clarity Max will break down and reduce pond
debris, thus making it easier to remove by pond filtration
systems. Apply CrystalClearŽ Clarity Max over the surface
area or around the perimeter of the pond in dry form for best
results. Be careful not to let the product dust plant coverage.
Immediately after application the pond may become cloudy.
This a a normal process and should clear within 24-48 hours.
Algae growth should become noticeably reduced within 5-15
days if application rates are followed. CrystalClearŽ Clarity
Max has been field tested and laboratory tested by some of
the the top names in the water gardening industry and has
achieved a very good reputation with water gardening experts
across the nation. CrystalClearŽ Clarity Max not only
adds large quantities of beneficial bacteria to the pond but
also introduces substances that change the chemistry of the
water, making the water column unsuitable for algae growth.
Algae cannot survive once this change in the environment has
taken place. However, pond plants, fish, frogs, turtles and
pond wildlife are unaffected by the change. Once added to
the water column, CrystalClearŽ Clarity Max does not have
an effect on pH or oxygen levels within the pond. As with
any living creature bacteria need certain environmental parameters
to survive. Therefore, it is necessary to have the following
characteristics present in the pond before treatment to ensure
proper functioning of this product:
pH: Between 6.5 and 9.0 - Water Temperature: 60°F (15°C)
- Dissolved Oxygen: 3PPM [3MG/L]
Application Rate: 1/4 cup treats 1,000 gallons, 1/2 cup treats
2,000 gallons, 3/4 cup treats 3,000 gallons, 1 cup treats
4,000 gallons. Treat pond 2-3 times the first week at suggested
rates. Afterward treat pond every 10-14 days until problem
has been resolved. For more severe problems use a double application.

CrystalClear®
RAPICLEAR is designed to clear water gardens
and koi ponds quickly and safely by combining suspended
particulate together. This process is commonly called
"flocculation". Flocculation basically means
that suspended organics within the water column attract
together, making the accumulated mass heavier than water.
This "mass" will eventually drop to the bottom
of the pond where a good bacteria colony can utilize the
organic mass as food and remove it from the pond, or it
will simply get removed by filters, skimmers, etc. A must
have product for any pond owner!
